Support from on High

During the second half of the Brighton & Hove Albion vs Blackpool game at Brighton’s Amex Stadium, an RAF Search & Rescue helicopter made a flypast to the amusement and appreciation of the crowd watching below. The game finished a 2-2 draw.

The crew member at the door was wearing a Brighton & Hove Albion team shirt and was holding an Albion scarf above his head.  It’s good to see that the Team has support from on high.

On the side of the aircraft is the motto ’70 Years of Saving Lives’ – a shame they couldn’t save Brighton from the draw, but these men and women certainly deserve our support.   Well done the RAF!

Edit : here’s the video from inside the helicopter on YouTube.
