Wedding Bells – Hayley and Ian

Linda and I were delighted to be asked to capture the Wedding of Hayley and Ian.  The venue for the ceremony was Holmbush House near Hellingly in East Sussex, and the reception was held at the Garden Room in Hove.

Following the ceremony, we stopped to take photos near Eastbourne’s Belle Tout lighthouse, and near the Long Man of Wilmington.  Although the weather forecasts weren’t too brilliant, the rain held off to give us a rather perfect day!

Bizarre Marketing!

Readers of my blog may remember that back in the summer, Linda bought me a hedgehog house for my birthday. It came from Amazon.

Now, as we’ve bought one hedgehog house, Amazon recommend that I buy another!

If this carries on, our back garden will be a small town for hedgehogs with hedgehog houses everywhere.  Will Amazon start selling hedgehog schools, hedgehog town halls, hedgehog shopping centres?  The list goes on!

My In-tray is never empty

There’s always something in the in-tray on my desk in the office.

I need to file it under ‘R’ for Riley!

Adobe Lightroom 4 – thumbs up !

I have been using Adobe Lightroom ever since it was first released. To me, the software is a photographer’s dream; if I have been shooting a football match or a wedding, and have up to several hundred photos to sift, sort and then edit – it lets me do this very quickly.

It keeps my images nicely filed away, and does so, so many other things, far to numerous to list here.

Adobe has just released a beta version – a preview – of the new version of Lightroom, and I am not disappointed!  The new develop – image editing- tools (seen below editing Ted) were well worth the wait.

I’m so looking forward to getting my mits on the final version.
